A Relaxing Christmas

Everyone at Fayme had a very relaxing Christmas. The puppies loved the new dog beds that Santa left for them. Mom made a scrambled egg breakfast for the dogs and we all went on a few walks. The temperature was 54 degrees and it was a perfect day. The puppies also spend time on the couch watching Christmas movies and taking log naps. Troy came over for Christmas dinner and we counted our blessing that we had good friends and our health.

Let It Snow

The puppies and LuLu had fun on their morning run. These dogs are not worried about cold or wet paws. They had a great time running on the trails and frolicking in the snow. It was a real winter wonderland and reminded Ivan of home.

Happy Holidays

FAYME is getting ready for the holidays. The dogs have all been taking their turns dressing up in their holiday finest. What time and effort it takes to get pictures for our Christmas card! Once again I want to thank Sherri Barber for her patience in taking such cute pictures of all of my dogs.

Thank You A’vigdors French Bulldogs

I want to thank Revaz Khomasuridze of A’vigdors French Bulldogs in Moscow, Russia for helping me select the perfect French Bulldog to add to my breeding program. Ravez made getting this puppy very easy and when he arrived he exceeded my expectations. A’vigdors Joujou Prefere (Ivan) is the sweetest puppy with the best temperament. He get along perfectly with the whole FAYME family and he grows nicer as each day passes. Make sure you check out Ivan's impressive pedigree: http://www.avigdors.ru/ped_puppies51_eng.htm. It is linked to A'vigdors website because all of Ravaz's pedigrees are very easy to read and there are pictures of all the French Bulldogs in Ivan's pedigree. Come check him out if you are in the neighborhood!

Clermont County All Breeds Puppy Match

Anabelle blew me away at the show today. Anabelle and Thor are only 3 months old and we had a week to prepare. I chose not to prepare because I didn’t want to drill perfect showmanship into them. Anabelle and Thor both won their classes. Anabelle then went on to win Best of Breed. Her Group win was a shock because the competition was so steep and I didn't think we had a chance in you know where of winning, but win Anabelle did. Now it was on to Best In Show. Annie was so tiny. She was 3x's smaller than the next biggest dog. She gave it her all and didn't win, but to make it as far as she did left me in complete shock. In January she will begin her AKC show career. That will give us plenty of time to get ready. Anabelle is FAYME's newest Star!

Our Halloween Meetup

Zolly, Thor, Anabelle, Summer Raine and I all went to our small dog Meetup Group this morning for their Halloween party. The puppies had a wonderful time playing with all of the other dogs and getting lots of love from the people who attended. I was also surprised that the puppies had no fear of the agility equipment and the girls ran in and out of the tunnel like little pros and climbed up on all the platforms. I put a bear cap on Zolly from another dog's costume and I thought she looked cute. She dressed up as a pig for the costume contest, but Gabe another Frenchie won the contest dressed as a lion.

Camus and Cousteau

I had to share these pictures of Camus and Cousteau together again in sunny California with Phil and Sarah. They are so happy to be reunited. As puppies the were always together and the best of friends. When Cousteau left Camus was lost for weeks mourning the loss of his best friend. Now reunited both dogs couldn't be happier. It is comforting to know that these two wonderful dogs couldn't have found a more loving home than with Sarah and Phil!

Cousteau and Camus in their Halloween Attire

It is almost Halloween and we have the treat of Cousteau and his brother Camus in their Halloween costumes reunited just in time for trick or treating. I am sure they will get lots of goodies in their dogie bags. Who could resist these two amazingly gorgeous guys? I sure couldn't!

Roman Enjoying His Doggie Swim Day

Who says French Bulldogs don't like water? Obviously not Roman. As you can see from the pictures above he has no fear of taking a swim in the pool or going down a slide. FAYME Frenchies are notoriously athletic and Roman is just proving that he is just as tough as his father Alik and his sister LuLu who is famous for enjoying a good dip in the neighbors pond.

A Great Dog Harness

I have never been a big fan of dog harnesses, but after trying every collar on Alik with no success I decided to try a harness. When Anahita and Gavin were down we talked about walking our males and how much pulling they do since they are so strong. Gavin told me they had been using a harness with much better results than a collar so I decided to give one a try. I had a hot pink harness that had only been used a few times with one of my Shar Peis and decided to give it a try on Alik. To my surprise it made a huge difference and once again our daily walking together became harmonious. Obviously I couldn't continue to use a hot pink harness on Alik so I decided to do some research on harnesses. I did not like the construction of the standard harnesses available in the pets stores and knew there had to be a better option. I started researching padded harnesses on Google and ended up finding the EzyDog® Harness & Car Seatbelt. It got great reviews so I decided to give it a try.

I just received it today and had to give it a test drive. The harness was very well constructed and well made. Nothing cheap about this harness. The chest is padded and was very easy to slip on Alik. It also has a car seat attachment which was nice. Alik and I love this harness and recommend it to everyone who wants a comfortable well constructed harness to use on their dogs. Alik took a medium. Here is the website where I purchased mine. http://www.gollygear.com/ezydog.htm.

This harness totally exceeded my expectations!

Thor is Reserved for Rhonda in Connecticut

I am happy to report that Thor has found his forever home with Rhonda in Connecticut. I think that Thor will be extremely happy in his new home and that Rhonda will care for him and love him the way we all do at FAYME. He will leave sometime in October so I want all of his friends to come see him before he goes!

Anabelle and Summer The Escape Artists

Summer Raine and Anabelle have figured out how to get through the backyard fence into my neighbors yard to enjoy her lush grass. Unfortunately, I don't have any grass so I give them a reason for escape. Summer is good about coming back into the yard, but Anabelle lets me know "If you want me, come and get me!" Thanks goodness that Thor cant squeeze though the fence too. My neighbor keeps telling me Summer wants to come live with her because what other reason would she have to keep coming back. Summer is pretty hard to resist. Who would complain about finding these 2 adorable puppies in their backyard!

Sherri Barber Has A Photoshoot at FAYME

On Sunday September 13 Sherri Barber came over for a photo shoot with my dogs. All the dogs were instantly taken with her and we all had a really great time. She posted a few of the photos she took on her Blog page. Check it out at http://www.sb1photo.com/blog/. Scroll down until you see Zolly's smiling face. Not only did we have a great time together, but she said a lot of very complimentary thing about FAYME. Anyone local in need of a photographer should give her a call.

A Visit From Anahita, Gavin & Roman

This weekend FAYME was lucky enough to have Anahita, Gavin and Roman come to Cincinnati for a visit. There is nothing that makes a breeder happier than knowing that they placed the right dog in the right home. Roman has thrived under Anahita and Gavin's guidance and turned into an absolutely beautiful well adjusted dog. He has one of the most beautiful French bulldog heads I have ever seen and he is the sweetest dog any owner could hope for.

They stopped by Friday night after they arrived in town and Roman was able to visit with the whole FAYME gang. While the dogs caught up so did we. They ended up staying at one of the downtown hotels which was only a few minutes from home. On Saturday they came over bright an early and went with me to a dog show. It was nice for them to see Alik win his class. Afterwards we had lunch and hung out. Claudia came over and took some really great photos of Roman. She also got some great pictures of Anahita with the puppies. I was a great day. Before they left on Sunday they came by and we went for a walk in the park with Roman and Lulu. It was so wonderful for me to see how nice Roman turned out and how wonderful Anahita and Gavin are with him.

We are sure glad she is back from Italy, but so happy she was able to spend a month there. I know everyone really wanted to see new pictures of the puppies and how they have turned out. Jett Lee Now "Camus" Is In California

Fayme French Bulldogs owe Sarah and Phil Giron a debt of gratitude for adopting Camus when his owner could no longer care for him. We know that Camus will be extremely happy reunited with his brother Cousteau. Camus has such a big heart and I know he could not have found a better home than with the three of you. We at Fayme wish the Girons the best of luck with the new addition to their family and also wish them all health and continued happiness!

The Puppies & The Bear!!!!!!

What a day the puppies had this morning. Not only were they model children, but they went to the park for the first time and encountered a bear. Now most other dogs would have been frightened, but not the Summer Sables. They were curious and so fun loving the bear just couldn't bring himself to eat them.
