Happy Thanksgiving

How does Summer and the puppies spend their Thanksgiving. After a big breakfast the puppies take a nap. After going out for a short time they went into the pen with Summer. Summer has been wanting to get in the pen and steal all their toys and chews which she has now accomplished. She soon finds out that her thievery comes with a cost; now she must nurse 6 hungry puppies with teeth. Summer seemed to think it was well worth the cost.

Cousteau and Camus Go Hiking

Cousteau and Camus are having a blast on their trip up to Big Bear Mountain. They had a great time going hiking and making friends. They love hiking! Just goes to show that all French Bulldogs are not couch potatoes. They are also shown modeling their Christmas sweaters. What handsome boys they are.

Lola & Madeline

Aren't these two fawn girls just adorable? I am excited to tell everyone that these two gorgeous girls are going to two friends who live on Long Island, NY. The two will be sisters and friends forever. This will be such a wonderful ending for these two special girls!!!

Autumn Has A Great New Home

I am so excited I just sold Autumn to a wonderful family who lives in Long Island, NY. Autumn's new mother is a fellow Dressage rider. I feel we are kindred spirits who think and feel the same way about our animals. Autumn will have lots of space to run and play and two handsome little boys to play with!!! I couldn't be happier!!!

A Fun Sunday

Alik & Zolly enjoyed snuggling up together this morning. Ivan and I went to handling class to get him ready for the Columbus show this coming weekend and Mea came over to play with the puppies before she had to go home. The puppies really enjoyed Mea's visit and really liked to play with her. All the puppies are enjoying getting out and playing with all the toys and bones. Adaline had fun playing with the jolly ball.

New Pictures of Roman on his Birthday!!!

Today the Presidential Puppies turned two years old. I still love receiving pictures of them and knowing how much their owners love them. Anahita and Gavin sent me some new pictures of Roman. He is such a sweet and handsome boy!!! Happy birthday to all the puppies including Roman, Cousteau, Camus and of course LuLu.

Puppy Photo Shoot

I want to thank Sherri Barber once again for taking such amazing pictures of my dogs. The love and dedication she puts into her work comes through in the photos!!! Only reason why there are more pictures of the brindle girls is that they were all very cooperative and so many of their pictures were just adorable!!!

New Dog Food Recommendations For Pregnant Bitches

When Summer became pregnant I decided that she needed a higher protein dog food to support milk production and the puppies. I am fanatical when it comes to their diets, but every now and then on a whim I try something new. I decided to try Nature's Recipe new Grain Free Easy To Digest Salmon with Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Recipe Dry Dog Food. It was 26% protein and I wanted to make sure it was easy for her to digest with everything going on inside her. Summer has looked fabulous throughout her pregnancy and through her 4 weeks of nursing. She loves the food and inhales it. All the puppies are amazingly strong and their coats are so lustrous. It was a great decision on my part to start feeding her this food and she has just thrived on it. From now on it will be a must for all of my pregnant bitches.

Feeding Frenzy

It is always a feeding frenzy when Summer nurses so I started the puppies on puppy food this morning. Just because they ate a big breakfast didn't mean that they weren't interested in more milk when it was offered to them. Summer has been taking such great care of her beautiful babies.
