Heathcliff RIP

I had to put my beautiful boy Heathcliff down today. It was very painful for me since he was my last Shar-Pei. He has had Kidney disease for two years now and didn't let it spoil a day of his life. He loved my Frenchies with a passion. He helped with the care of all my puppies and remembered each one when they came back for a visit. Annie was his best friend and she loved grooming and spending time with him. A big void is left for all of us. I know he is in a better place now. He might be gone, but he will never be forgotten by me or all that loved him.

Scarlett at Puppy Match

I had a lot of fun today taking Scarlett and Zelda to the Puppy Match at Clermont County Dog Training Club. Scarlett did very well, but Zelda thought we were there to play and did not have a memorable performance. My friend David took best French Bulldog puppy with Mel then went on to win the Non-Sporting Group. I was very proud of David and Mel. We getting warmed up for the Louisville Show next weekend. I also ran into Ann with her new Dalmatian puppies. There were 4 puppies there from Natti's litter. They were all very consistent and nice. I was such a pleasant afternoon with no pressure. Everyone had fun and that's what counts the most.
