Jett Lee Now "Camus" Is In California

Fayme French Bulldogs owe Sarah and Phil Giron a debt of gratitude for adopting Camus when his owner could no longer care for him. We know that Camus will be extremely happy reunited with his brother Cousteau. Camus has such a big heart and I know he could not have found a better home than with the three of you. We at Fayme wish the Girons the best of luck with the new addition to their family and also wish them all health and continued happiness!

The Puppies & The Bear!!!!!!

What a day the puppies had this morning. Not only were they model children, but they went to the park for the first time and encountered a bear. Now most other dogs would have been frightened, but not the Summer Sables. They were curious and so fun loving the bear just couldn't bring himself to eat them.

Anabelle's Ears Are Up

Anabelle's ears are up. Thor's are perking up a bit, but not there yet and little Summer Rain has a day or two to go before hers come up. Every day brings new first to the Summer Sables and they get cuter and more ambitious in their daily activities.

Puppy Playtime

The puppies have been really busy. Now that they are eating dog food and going out back regularly to relieve themselves there is never a dull moment. After doing their business they come in and play in their new play pen. It is a family affair with all my frenchies taking part. After play time is over they go back to their whelping box to nap. There has been plenty to do to stimulate them physically as well as mentally.

Two New Firsts Today

The puppies started eating dog food today. Thor and Summer took to it right away, but Anabelle still wanted only mamma's milk. I also took them outside for the first time to work on housebreaking. Summer and Thor picked up right away on what they were supposed to do and scampered around and played and did their business while Anabelle sat there and cried and didn't want to budge an inch. I guess I know who the premadonna in this litter is. Thor and Summer seem fearless as they take in all the new sights and sounds. Eventually Anabelle will come around.

Puppies At Play

The puppies have really been enjoying playing with the toys I have been putting in their whelping box. The problem is that LuLu keeps on taking them away because they are having too much fun with them.

I kept looking at the puppies faces thinking that something looked different. I finally realized what is was. They all have blue eyes. Not sure they will stay that color, but at 3 1/2 weeks old it is definitely an interesting discovery!

Puppies First Time Out

The puppies were allowed out of their whelping box last night to see what the outside world was like. LuLu wanted to play with them right away and was very gentle in her curiosity. The boys kept their distance while the puppies wandered around. The puppies are very active and quite adorable.

Alik In The Library

Alik was in the library today polishing up on his dog training knowledge. Sometimes he likes to remind me that I need to take action when LuLu is getting away with something that she shouldn't or that I was using an improper training command on him. One of his favorite books is Brian Kilcommons "Good Owners, Great Dogs". This is a great reference book for any household that owns dogs. The book is full of valuable information on raising a puppy, training your dog and understanding canine problems. Alik cant always find the correct episode of the "Dog Whisperer" when a problem arises so this book is his fist stop when an immediate solution is needed .

Alik thinks everyone should read this book. You can find it at your local library or on eBay, like we did, real cheap! Happy Reading

Anahita, Gavin & Roman

These pictures were just too good not to share immediately. They were taken on the campus of Virginia Tech where Gavin attends classes and Anahita works. At almost 9 months of age Roman is just a beautiful example of a very correct French Bulldog. I would like to give Alik and Zolly credit for his amazingly good looks and temperament, but I really have to give Anahita and Gavin credit for taking such good care of him. A more wonderful set of parents he could not have found and I hope we all stay in touch for may years to come!
